Upon placement of an order and receipt of that order by THE BOW, customers will be sent written confirmation via email. Any alterations to that order will also be confirmed with the customer via email notification. Once an order has been shipped, customers will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number. Given the handmade nature of our products, most items will ship between 3-6 business days, or as stated on the product page, from the order date. We appreciate your patience. All THE BOW domestic orders ship Via Canada Post and are delivered within 1-8 business days, depending on location. THE BOW orders ship mainly via CANADA POST. Should you require expedited shipping for faster delivery you will be given the option of making these selections on our checkout page. Those rates will vary according to package size, weight, and final destination.
International orders over $450 ship FREE. For all other orders, shipping rates will vary according to package size, weight, and final destination. Duties and import taxes are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of any duties and import taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery.

Returns & Exchanges
GENERAL: Any item that does not state as custom order may be returned or exchanged within seven (7) days of the original order’s arrival. More specifically, we require that your return package be postmarked no more than 7 days from the date that your order tracking indicates that the product was delivered, please contact us by email before returning your items. If your returned items are shipped back to THE BOW beyond the qualifying return window, THE BOW reserves the right to reject the package and the return or accept the return with a 25% restocking fee, at the discretion of THE BOW. Anything purchased with a special code or discount is considered FINAL SALE and not returnable. All custom-made orders (specifically our gemstone rings) are FINAL SALE and not returnable unless they are confirmed as faulty on arrival (see details below).
Merchandise must be in unworn condition and must retain, intact and undisturbed, or any other form of usage indicator that were in place on the merchandise when it was shipped. In order to return or exchange, merchandise must be carefully enclosed in its original packaging, and be packed and shipped in such a way as to adequately protect the delicate and fragile contents inside. We will not accept returned goods that have been worn, do not have their original packaging, or that show apparent signs of use or abuse. Goods that are returned without their original packaging will not be accepted. Merchandise received by a customer as a result of an exchange is not considered a new or original order, and may only be re-exchanged at the discretion of THE BOW Customer Service. THE BOW is not responsible for shipping charges on returned or exchanged merchandise. We can only recommend trackable shipping when shipping items for exchange, and we are not responsible for packages lost or damaged during shipment for exchange.
EXCHANGES: THE BOW products are eligible for refund or exchange within 7 days of delivery if they are not custom to size orders.
THE BOW exchanges may only be made for items of equal or lesser value. Upon the valid return of your original item, you will be shipped your new item and your original payment method will be refunded for the difference in price. If you have received THE BOW item but would like to change it for a more expensive item, you must either (1) return your current item for a full refund and then purchase your new item in a separate transaction or (2) exchange your current item for a THE BOW gift card, with which you will later purchase your new higher priced item in combination with an additional payment source. THE BOW can also not guarantee the availability of any specific styles for return or exchange. If your desired replacement is not available, you will be able to indicate whether you would like a refund or gift card for your original item.

Defective or Incorrect Merchandise
In the event that you receive an incorrect or faulty THE BOW item, we will expedite your claim. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Faulty On Arrival” and a photo of the faulty or incorrect item. Once our Customer Service team has received the item and confirmed it to be incorrect, a Return label will be provided and a refund will be issued in the form of a gift code to be used online for the correct item purchase.
Merchandise will be deemed faulty only if it is determined that it was faulty at its time of shipment, or if they were damaged during its time in transit. Merchandise damaged after delivery is not considered faulty, and therefore would not be eligible for return. THE BOW is not responsible for damaged or stolen merchandise after delivery has taken place. In returning incorrect or faulty merchandise, all of the standard rules of our Return Policy will apply. We cannot guarantee that items will be in stock at any time.

THE BOW jewelry is handmade with intricate detail and delicate components. Therefore, all pieces must be handled gently and with great care. For example, do not casually toss jewelry into bags or allow jewelry to hang loosely in luggage. In order to maintain the vintage appearance and feel, we do not recommend cleaning the jewelry, vintage gold, silver, and other oxidized metals are best left alone to age gracefully. However, you may use a dry, soft, jewelry specific or microfiber cloth to gently remove dust. Do not use any liquid cleaning solutions of any kind. You may use a damp q-tip to clean gemstones. Some of the settings of our gemstones leave the gemstone unprotected by the base metal of the ring, this type of setting is what makes the piece unique, be careful to avoid any shocks to the gemstone. Please enjoy and handle with care!
