The Bow's design traces back to childhood summers spent in my country of ancestry, Turkey. Surrounded by the rich tapestry of Anatolian, Mesopotamian, and Aegean history, I found myself captivated by the imperfect beauty of ancient remnants, unaware that these early explorations would later inspire my artistic journey.

After university, I moved from Vancouver to Turkey, then to Italy, where I worked for a fashion house leading production in India. In Jaipur, I discovered the beauty of raw and hand cut gemstones and unapologetic bold adornments. When I returned to Turkey, I began training in wax sculpting and traditional metalsmithing taught by Turkish masters in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar. This is when I learned to merge the boldness of design with sculptural form, infusing my past inspirations with empowering works of art rooted by history.

The Bow Jewelry took root when I learned of my pregnancy with my son. In that pivotal moment, I realized my desire to embark on a dual journey —as both artist and mother. I wanted to share stories of empowering women through this artistic conduit, creating pieces that remind us: we are part of an unbroken lineage of strength.

During my years working in fashion, I traveled the world and forged deep friendships with women across cultures. Our connections always began through shared stories — love, loss, hope, birth, perseverance. No matter our background or age, these stories united us instantly.

The Bow carries this reminder that women are divinely connected across time and place. Each piece channels the collective power of our past to inspire bold action in the present.
