Torn Bustier - Made to Order

The Torn Bustier is sculptural armor — a wearable work of art that embodies the tension between strength and fracture. Inspired by Hypatia of Alexandria, who stood for knowledge and balance as her city collapsed into chaos, it represents what it means to be torn: between cosmos and the physical world, balance and disorder, hope and despair.

Its fractured surface represents the state of being torn, yet its form still stands in strength. To wear it is to stand in that place of being torn and strong, where conviction is tested but remains unbroken.

Materials & Craftsmanship

  • Solid bronze
  • Hand-sculpted through wax manipulation
  • Made-to-order, 6–10 weeks production time

The Torn Bustier is armor for the heroine who refuses to yield.

Cosmos & Chaos

Hypatia of Alexandria made knowledge her power.

A philosopher, mathematician, and astronomer in ancient Alexandria, Hypatia was known for her brilliant mind and her command of ideas. She studied the heavens, taught philosophy, and used reason as a force.

Alexandria was a city of brilliance and unrest — a place of learning, politics, faith, conflict, and change. Hypatia moved through that chaos with clarity.

She looked at the cosmos and saw order.

The Cosmos & Chaos Collection draws from her legacy: intellect, vision, calm, and the courage to question.

Celestial stones speak to astronomy and the vastness of thought. Sculptural textures echo the movement between chaos and order — the place where new ideas are born.

This is jewelry for the woman who trusts her mind.

Clear vision. Calm command.
