The Warrior’s Weave Choker is a sculptural brass choker with antique Sim Sırma embroidery.

Inspired by the women of the Turkish War of Independence, it carries protection, craft, and command in one form.

During the Turkish War of Independence, women carried intelligence, supplies, strategy, weapons, and command. They moved through front lines, organized resistance, led soldiers, rallied the public, and helped shape the future of a new republic.

Kara Fatma led hundreds of soldiers. Halide Edib Adıvar used her voice, writing, and public speeches to mobilize a nation. Others carried messages, protected routes, fed fighters, and kept the resistance alive.

The Threads of Resistance Collection draws from that force.
