U.S. Orders, Import Tariffs & Duties
The Bow ships from Montréal, Canada, and continues to ship to collectors throughout the United States.
Under current U.S. import regulations, certain Canadian-made jewelry classifications are subject to an additional 50% U.S. import tariff. The tariff that applies to an order depends on the customs classification, and declared value of the piece.
Any applicable U.S. tariff is not included in the price shown at checkout.
After your order is placed, The Bow will determine whether an additional U.S. tariff applies to your piece. If a tariff is required, we will contact you with the exact amount due before your order is shipped.
The applicable tariff payment must be received before the order can be dispatched. U.S. orders are shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), which means the required tariff is settled before the shipment crosses the U.S. border rather than being collected from you upon delivery.
If You Choose Not to Pay the Applicable U.S. Tariff
If an additional U.S. tariff applies to your order and you choose not to proceed with the required tariff payment, your order may be cancelled and refunded before shipment.
Because payment processing, transaction, currency conversion, administrative, customs preparation, and other costs have already been incurred when the original order was placed, these costs are non-refundable.
In this situation, the amount withheld from your refund will be 10% of the original order total. The remaining balance will be refunded to your original method of payment.
Once you have paid the applicable tariff and the order has been dispatched or entered the customs process, tariff payments, customs charges, and other import-related fees are non-refundable.
Changing U.S. Trade Regulations
U.S. tariffs and customs regulations are determined by U.S. authorities and may change without notice. The Bow does not impose or retain these tariffs. We will provide the applicable tariff amount based on the information available to us before your order is shipped.
By placing an order for delivery to the United States, you acknowledge that additional U.S. import tariffs may apply and that, when required, payment of those tariffs must be completed before shipment. Any additional duties, taxes, or customs charges subsequently assessed by U.S. authorities during customs clearance remain the responsibility of the purchaser.
